Every time I have voted for president in the past - I remember thinking who is the lesser of 2 evils?? (well, I kinda liked Bush- he is from Texas afterall) .... but this year one candidate stands out waaaaayyyyy above the others for me... For the first time I am anxious to vote and to spread the word about a candidate. This year - my vote goes for Mike Huckabee. Here's just one of the issues/reasons why:
Mike Huckabee supports the only logical repair to our broken tax code - "The Fairtax" ( www.Fairtax.org ) The Fairtax bill ( H.R. 25 / S 1025 ) has more co-sponsors in congress than ANY other bill!!
So what's the big deal with this "Fairtax"?"The Fairtax" ( basically a national retail sales tax on NEW purchases only ) would not only replace the funds needed to run our government and it's programs including Social Security, but would also bring back the factories and businesses that left our shores because of the IRS!
The Fairtax has MILLIONS of supporters around the country. Most people who discover the simple details of how it works, want it!
Mike Huckabee = NO more IRS!
John McCain = keep the IRS
Rudy Giuliani = keep the IRS
Mitt Romney = keep the IRS
Fred Thompson = keep the IRS
Hilary Clinton = keep the IRS
Barrack Obama = keep the IRS
John Edwards = keep the IRS
WHY??
Because the IRS provides "the good ol' boys" of Washington a leveraging tool that they use every year to fund favors for friends / hobbies / special deductions / hidden agendas etc.. They do NOT want the Fairtax!
Please take a closer look at Mike Huckabee!!
